Students' data is the centre's

If you are a student or parent, your tuition centre decides how your data is used and is responsible for it. MasteryPath processes it only on the centre's behalf, under a written agreement (the Data Processing Schedule in our Terms). Please contact your centre with any questions or requests. We will help the centre answer them.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the Service: Supabase (database and sign-in, London), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (sign-in and invitation emails). Backups are kept on MasteryPath's own computer in the UK. Some providers are US companies; where data may leave the UK, we use the safeguards UK law requires. We may also share data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
  • Customer and billing records: 6 years after the account ends, for tax and accounting.
  • Staff logins: deleted when removed by the centre, or when the centre's account ends.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@masterypath.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and, for customers, tell you by email.
